The Peakroc® PRMD-0908 is a portable diesel-driven screw air compressor delivering 9 m³/min at 8 bar (320cfm 116psi).working pressure.
This compressor delivers 9 m³/min at 8 bar, powered by a reliable diesel engine. The heavy-duty frame is mounted on a shock-absorbing chassis, ensuring stability during hauling and drilling operations. The enclosure uses 2 mm cold-rolled steel with fire-retardant, sound-insulated material, suitable for tough field environments.
The unit is equipped with a high-performance oil-injected rotary screw air end featuring precision-machined rotors and SKF bearings. This design ensures high volumetric efficiency with low fuel consumption. The gearbox, coupling system, and intake valve are designed to withstand continuous high load under drilling or mining work.
A dual-stage air filtration system prevents fine dust from entering the screw unit—critical for drilling, quarry, and desert environments. The high-efficiency oil separation system delivers clean compressed air with minimal oil content (<3 ppm), while wide access doors provide easy service clearance for filters, belts, and fluid checks.

Yes. This air capacity and pressure combination is ideal for shallow and medium-depth DTH drilling, borehole blasting, and quarry operations
Most 9/8 compressors use engines like Yanmar, Cummins, or Weichai, matched with a high-efficiency screw air end for optimal fuel-to-air output ratio.
Absolutely. It is widely used with KW20–KW30, XY-1A, XY-100, XCMG and Hydraulic Water Well Drills, supplying stable airflow for borehole flushing.
Depending on the engine, typical consumption is 12–16 liters per hour under full load.
Most units come with G1″ or G1-1/2″ quick couplings, supporting 19mm–32mm air hoses for drilling equipment.
For drilling and sandblasting, dry compressed air improves efficiency. An optional aftercooler, moisture separator or air dryer is recommended.
