Peakroc® PRMD series portable air compressors with a free air delivery range of 5.00–46.38 m³/min and a working pressure of 7–35 bar, these compressors can meet the requirements of almost any industrial application.
Certifications:
ISO9001 Quality Management System
UKAS Quality Management
CE Certification (European Safety Compliance)
Peakroc® PRMD series diesel portable Screw Air Compressor are widely used in:
Water-well / geothermal drilling (100–200 m)
Mining & quarry support
Pipeline pressure testing & purging
Sandblasting / surface preparation
Civil construction & road maintenance
The Peakroc® PRMD-10/10 configuration provides 10 m³/min free air delivery at 10 bar (375cfm 145psi). It targets mid-to-high demand tasks where stable pressure and continuous duty are required: water-well and geothermal drilling, quarry support, medium blasting, and pipeline pressure tests. The package combines a continuous-duty diesel engine, high-efficiency screw air end, and a towable chassis designed for site moves.
Industrial diesel engine matched to compressor load for steady 10 bar discharge.
Welded steel frame with vibration isolation mounts; balanced axle for safe towing.
2 mm cold-rolled steel canopy with flame-retardant acoustic lining to reduce noise and protect internals.
Oil-injected rotary screw air end with precision SAP rotor profile for high volumetric efficiency.
Alloy-steel rotors on SKF bearings; tight clearances for thermal stability and limited flow drop at sustained load.
Intake, minimum-pressure and safety controls sized for 10 bar operation.
Dual-stage air intake filtration (fine dust removal) for drilling and quarry conditions.
High-efficiency oil separation for low carryover; aftercooler interface available if dryer air is required.
Service points (air/oil filters, separator, belts, fluids) accessible from one side to limit downtime.

Yes for small/medium DTH hammers and rotary drilling. For large hammers or deep blast holes, high-pressure units (12–21 bar) are recommended.
Generally 12–16 L/h, depending on engine model, ambient temperature and load factor.
Commonly G1″–G1½″ outlets with 25–38 mm ID hoses. Keep runs short and minimize couplings to limit pressure drop.
Yes. The powertrain and air end are rated for continuous duty with correct fluid levels and scheduled maintenance.
For drilling in humid climates or for blasting/painting, add an aftercooler and moisture separator; use a dryer where low dew point is required.
Typical guidance: engine oil 250–300 h, air filter ~500 h (sooner in dust), oil filter 500–800 h, separator 1,500–2,000 h. Follow the specific service manual.
