Peakroc® PRMD series diesel portable Screw Air Compressor are widely used in:
Mining & Quarry Drilling
Geothermal & Borehole Drilling (≤150m)
Pipeline Pressure Testing
Sandblasting & Surface Cleaning
Pneumatic Tools (Jackhammer, Rivet Gun)
The Peakroc® PRMD 7 m³/min 10 bar (247cfm 145psi). diesel portable screw air compressor is designed for medium-duty applications such as mining drilling, pneumatic tools, geothermal boreholes, pipeline maintenance and sandblasting. Compared to 5 m³/min low-pressure models, this version delivers higher airflow and pressure, making it capable of running one DTH drilling hammer or multiple pneumatic tools simultaneously while maintaining fuel efficiency and reliability.
This compressor is powered by a fuel-efficient diesel engine delivering stable 10 bar working pressure under continuous load. The reinforced wear-resistant chassis and 2 mm steel soundproof canopy ensure excellent structural strength and low vibration, suitable for rough environments such as mines, tunnels and remote drilling sites.
Equipped with a precision-machined screw air end featuring an SAP rotor profile, American alloy steel rotors, and Sweden SKF bearings. This ensures high compression efficiency, stable 7 m³/min airflow at 10 bar, and long service life even under high-load drilling operations.
A dual-stage air filtration system removes over 99.9% of dust, protecting internal components from wear in heavy dust zones such as quarry sites and sand fields. An efficient oil filter maintains lubrication system cleanliness. Skid-mounted or towable trailer options make it easy to deploy across job sites.

Yes, this configuration is capable of powering a single medium-size DTH hammer or pneumatic rock drill used in mining, quarrying, or shallow borehole drilling.
On average, it consumes 8–12 liters of diesel per hour depending on engine model, load rate and ambient temperature.
Yes. With 10 bar pressure and 7 m³/min airflow, it is well-suited for medium-to-large sandblasting guns, rust removal, ship repair and surface preparation.
It is suitable for geothermal drilling, boreholes or micro-pile drilling up to 100–150 meters when paired with a rotary or DTH rig.
For drilling or sandblasting in humid environments, adding an aftercooler or air dryer is recommended to reduce water content in compressed air.
7 bar models are mainly for pneumatic tools and construction; 10 bar provides higher impact force, ideal for rock drilling, DTH hammering and pipeline pressure testing.
